# WKS Śląsk Wrocław Basketball signs a new player
WKS Śląsk Wrocław Basketball has signed a new player, Anthony Wrzeszcz. This is the first transfer of the 18-time Polish champion in the summer off-season. Wrzeszcz is a perimeter player who has represented the Polish national team in youth competitions.
Debut in the PLK
For Anthony Wrzeszcz, this will be his debut on the ORLEN Basket Liga courts. The basketball player was born in Canada, spent his childhood in Gdynia, and recently studied in the USA. In his last year of study – at New Mexico State University – he played 32 games, averaging 7.4 points and 2.1 rebounds.
Urbaniak in? Kirkwood out
The player expands the Polish rotation in Śląsk Wrocław. Important contracts are also held by: Błażej Czerniewicz, Błażej Kulikowski, Jakub Nizioł and Tymoteusz Sternicki. Kyrell Luc also has a contract. During the Monday program, Waldemar Łuczak announced that the club is trying to continue cooperation with Jakub Urbaniak, who is currently tied to a contract with Gran Canaria.
A new chapter for Noah Kirkwood
Noah Kirkwood, who was one of the biggest stars of the ORLEN Basket Liga, has signed a contract with Cedevita Olimpija. This is a participant in the EuroCup. – Last season I had the opportunity to play against this team in the EuroCup and I really liked their style of play. I felt great in Wrocław and heard only good things about Ljubljana, so I'm looking forward to the next chapter – he said after signing the contract.
